Vision Statement: Sowing Seeds Sewing Comfort Ministry’s goal is to empower people to become self-sustaining. Using love, charity, and the Word of God, SSSCM works to inspire women, children, and others to move forward; no matter how difficult the times.
Currently, we are looking for a permanent rural home; a place to build a teaching institution within 50 miles of Tallahassee. Elder C. Ivy has outlined a broad vision for the future of the ministry, involving a farm and teaching facility. We are looking for land!
Activities that go along with fulfilling the vision as currently identified are: expanding team and leadership skills and creating a rural network of alliances with like-minded people and organizations in the spirit of food sovereignty and food justice. Let’s go to work!
