Vice President – Kassandra McGlonn

Dr. Kassandra Lynn McGlonn is a seasoned public health expert with over 15 years of experience in clinic administration, infectious disease prevention, program development, and community outreach. Specializing in nonprofit management, government collaboration, and health behavior research, she identifies and addresses service gaps and creates culturally competent interventions to reduce health disparities. Dr. McGlonn has developed health curriculums, conducted extensive research, and managed Florida’s HIV/AIDS strategic plan. She holds degrees in Public Health, Disaster Medicine, and Epidemiology, and is a distinguished member of several national and international honor societies.

Secretary – Miyah Washington

Miyah Washington is a dedicated mental health professional pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Georgia Southern University and has extensive experience in crisis intervention, risk assessment, and mental health support. As a Crisis Counselor at Rocky Mountain Crisis Partners and The Crisis Text Line, she provided critical support to individuals in distress. Her background also includes administrative experience in clinical psychology, cognitive and neuropsychological assessment training, and substance use evaluations. Passionate about advocacy and community service, Miyah has held leadership roles as a volunteer trip leader and is an active member of professional organizations like the American Psychological Association.

Bonique Bethel

Bonique Bethel. is a seasoned public health and business professional with a Master’s in Public Health and a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Florida A&M University. With extensive experience in healthcare data analysis, business management, and legal assistance, she currently serves as an Account Manager at Conduent Healthy Communities Institute, where she supports healthcare and public health professionals in improving health outcomes. Previously, she worked as a Business Analyst and held various roles in Medicaid third-party liability, trust, and annuity recovery. Bonique is a certified Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor, Suicide Intervention Specialist, and Florida Guardian ad Litem. She is passionate about mental health advocacy, community outreach, and leveraging data to drive meaningful change in public health.

Christine Love

Christine Love loves leading and working with the Summer Camp Committee, the Thanksgiving Dinner Committee, and the Back To School Committee. God has allowed her to meet some wonderful people through the ministry. Christine Love is also a mother of four grown children, thirteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She graduated from Tallahassee Community College in 2012 with her Associate Arts Degree and studied at Florida A & M University. Her major was Criminal Justice and her minor was Sociology. She graduated in 2015 and was on the Dean’s list.

Dr. Jerilyn Ward

Jerilyn Ward is a highly skilled entrepreneur, educator, and administrative professional with over 30 years of experience in business operations, curriculum development, and strategic planning. As the CEO and founder of Sewing with Lady Ward, LLC, she has transformed her lifelong passion for sewing into a thriving business that offers sewing and fashion design classes, custom garment creation, and community outreach. With expertise in customer service, event coordination, public speaking, and project management, Jerilyn has held leadership roles in higher education, including serving as an adjunct instructor at Broward College and working with the Leon County Sheriff’s Department to teach sewing to inmates. Her background also includes extensive administrative experience in business, public policy, and grant coordination. A published author, mentor, and community leader, Jerilyn is dedicated to empowering others through education, innovation, and creative problem-solving.

Junior Board Member – Chardell Bradford

Chardell Bradford is a motivated professional with experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and customer service. Currently attending Tallahassee Community College (TSC), he plans to transfer to Florida State University (FSU) to pursue a degree in Computer Science. With a background as a Warehouse Associate at Utility Supply Center, he has developed skills in shipping, receiving, order picking, and packaging. Chardell holds CPR/AED and Serve Safe certifications, demonstrating his commitment to safety and efficiency. He is highly organized, eager to learn, and passionate about technology and problem-solving.

Board Member – Frankel St. Louis

Frankel St. Louis is an experienced educator, researcher, and community advocate currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership at Florida A&M University, where he also earned his M.S. in Community Psychology and B.S. in Psychology. He brings extensive experience in K–12 education, higher education, and assessment. As a former Graduate Research Assistant, he conducted and analyzed research on adolescent behavior, risky health behaviors among college students, and teacher turnover, while also teaching undergraduate psychology courses. His professional background includes work as a Juvenile Drug Court Counselor and HIV/AIDS Testing Assistant, reflecting his strong commitment to mental health advocacy and community support. Actively engaged in research presentations, publications, and community initiatives, Frankel is dedicated to advancing educational equity, promoting organizational effectiveness, and making a meaningful impact in underserved communities.

AdvisorDr. Cinny C. Adell

Dr. Cinny C. Adell is a lifelong learner and compassionate educator. She earned a doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology at Argosy University (Chicago, IL)  and a Master’s degree in  Clinical Social Work from Howard University (Washington, DC). Dr. Adell serves in various leadership roles, with the goal to promote the well-being of individuals, as well as society. In her leisure time, Dr. Adell enjoys reading, writing, learning about other cultures, teaching martial arts, and spending quality time with family and friends. Last but not least, she loves good humor and sharing the Word of God. 

Advisor – Mr. Matthew Kopka

Dr. Kopka is an interdisciplinary ecologist and ardent advocate of food sovereignty, the right of people to maintain and develop their own food systems, to produce food for themselves. He has taught at Florida State University and the University of Alabama. In 2014, Kopka helped Leon County stage its first local food summit and authored its report about the prospects for expanded local food production. He also helped to establish the Frenchtown Farmer’s Market, serving on its founding board. As a board member of Sustainable Tallahassee, Kopka helped revive the Community Garden Network and produce that organization’s first conference. And with FAMU’s Small Farms Program, Alcorn State University, and the Florida Organic Growers, he helped to conduct the USDA’s first (2017) study of minority farmer attitudes to organic farming.
