Welcome to Sowing Seeds Sewing Comfort Ministry (SSSCM). With love, charity, and The Word of God, SSSCM engages, equips, empowers, and enriches lives, serving the elderly, women, children, and people in transition in and around Tallahassee and the greater Florida area.
We do these by providing basic needs services: distributing food, clothing, and household items, providing transportation to medical and other appointments. As workers in God’s Kingdom, we not only work for the betterment of families, but we seek to increase their stability through the teaching of useful skills and drawing others together in fellowship. The Word states that “iron sharpens iron,” and so we seek to sharpen one another.
We are also intent on helping people obtain the confidence that comes from providing for themselves, and offer instructional programs in needlecraft (sewing, knitting, quilt-making), gardening (planting, harvesting, and canning), health and nutrition.
